About Us
About Us

Sista Elmmy was created by sister in-laws Yelitza Lavin & Emily Lavin and was born out of our love for family & food.
Yelitza was born & raised in Belize where she learned traditional cooking methods to hand-make tamales & pupusas in her mom's kitchen. She uses these techniques to create delicious food which she loves sharing with her friends & family.
Emily grew up in the Flathead Valley. She graduated from the California Culinary Academy in San Francisco & has spent her career in catering & corporate event management.
Together, Emily & Yelitza are able to fuse the traditions of Belize with American favorites to create Belizean street food that feeds the body & soul. We are committed to using quality, local ingredients in our creations.
We hope our food spreads lots of love to you & yours!
